Be part of a good thing

Membership in the Leverett Village Co-op (the LVC for you acronymaphiliacs) gives a sense of belonging to and supporting a wonderful community hub.

It also gives you access to savings on purchasing in bulk, a voice in the Co-op’s future development as well as discounts on area services such as landscaping, carpentry, and propane, to name just a few fabulous perks. Check out our list of Business Partners below.

Becoming a member is easy!

Via mail: sending a check is also possible. Please include: name, mailing address, phone, and email.

We will process and assign you a member number and be in touch!

Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing mailed payments.

Membership benefits:

  1. Ownership and voting privileges
  2. Member appreciation events and specials
  3. Amerigas and other local business partner discounts
  4. Bulk ordering (returning soon)
  5. Community! Supporting our local hub together!

Join our mailing list, members and nonmembers welcome!

How much does LVC membership cost?

To become a member/owner you must purchase shares totalling $170.

LVC Memberships are individual memberships. In the case of couples, whomever is listed first on the Member Join Form is the official member. All benefits are extended to the member’s household. The co-operative principle is that all individual members have an equal vote, no matter what the investment is. One Member-One Vote.

The $170 can be paid over time. Please ask for payment plan options.

How long does LVC membership last?

Once the full $170 investment is reached, there are no additional fees. (If at any time you wish to cancel your membership, you can and redeem your stock for the full amount invested, as per our bylaws.)

Can I phone in or email a bulk order?

Sadly bulk ordering is on hold during our Covid season. We look forward to putting it back into place in the future.
